Dear Potential Buyer,
This livestock sale culminates a year of hard work by our young producers! This sale represents far more than marketing livestock. It provides our 4-H and FFA members the opportunity to show the community what they achieved with their livestock project. These young people have spent countless hours carefully feeding, grooming, and conditioning their animals to produce the best product available.
The continued success of our sale is a direct result of the strong support provided by you-the community. Your participation demonstrates to the exhibitors that you appreciate the hard work and responsibility it takes to raise high quality market animals.
Thank you,
Ross County Sale Committee
Again, this year The Ross County Fair Board have decided to bring in professional Auctioneer Drew Williams and his American Realty and Auction and Herd Builder Pro Teams. American Realty and Auction will now be the sale office staff as well as collect all added money and sale money. To streamline this process the Ross County Sale Committee as well as the Ross County Fair Board have set up and laid out terms in a team effort with American Realty and Auction. To do this in an organized manor we have changed this process up and believe it will help not only the speed in which the youth participants are paid but also improve your experience as a supporter, bidder, and buyer. Please read the new sale terms and as always thanks for you support and happy bidding.
At arrival buyers should go to sale office and get registered. Have drivers license for scanning to register. Sale office will confirm contact and address as well as issue your buyer number. Party buyers need one representative to register and handle party purchases.
Auctioneer will have final say and will be always in control of the sale and increments. An auction bid constitutes a contract. When Auctioneer says sold buyers is at that point responsible to pay that bid price. Failure to pay your bill WILL be considered breach of contract for which you will be liable in Ross County Court to pay. Bidder also agrees to pay any court costs or legal fees associated with this case. All animals will be immediately consigned to slaughter UNLESS otherwise requested as a KEEP by the purchaser. Purchaser must designate the butcher of their choice at that time.
